The lawyer

Caroline Tondee

An invented attorney, described the way a real one would be — so that a firm reading this page is reading the finished product rather than a wireframe of it.

On a firm’s own site, the attorney’s portrait goes here.

How a collision claim is worked here

Caroline Tondee is an invented attorney. This page exists to show a firm what a site built on this template looks like once the parts that need verified data are filled in — the biography, the credentials, the results and the reviews.

The practice described here handles collisions on Alabama roads: passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and the claims that follow them. The words are written the way a real firm’s would be, so that a firm reading this page is reading the product rather than a wireframe.

Recognition

Past Chair, Pettigrew County Bar Association

What the role involved, and what it does not imply.

  • Past Chair, Pettigrew County Bar Association

Pettigrew County Bar Association · 2021

The chair of a county bar association is elected by the lawyers practicing in that county and serves a one-year term running the organization’s meetings, continuing education and pro bono programs. It is a service role within a voluntary association. It is not a rating of legal skill, and it is not an endorsement of any lawyer’s services by the association or by any court.

Offices

The Talbertville office

One office, and the sentence beneath the card is the one that matters more: a single address is where the work is run from, not a boundary around who can bring a claim.

Tondee Injury Law takes collision claims from anywhere in Alabama — the places named on this site simply have pages of their own.

Almost everything that settles a disputed collision is held by somebody who was not involved in it, on a retention schedule nobody in the crash chose. Junction cameras record over themselves within weeks. A vehicle’s own data module is lost when the car is repaired or goes to salvage. Emergency call audio is kept for as long as a county’s policy says and no longer.

None of that is anyone behaving badly — it is what the schedules say. What changes the outcome is asking for those records in writing early enough that the request arrives while they still exist, which is ordinarily the first thing this office does and is worth doing whether or not a claim is ever brought.

Caroline Tondee is an invented attorney and this page describes a practice that does not exist. Nothing on it is legal advice, it addresses the facts of no particular case, and reading it creates no attorney-client relationship. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Contact

Tell us what happened

If it is urgent, call — (334) 555-0142. If it is easier to write it down, the form below reaches the firm.

A short description is enough to start. Someone from the office will call you back the same day.

Every field is required unless it says optional.

Sending this form does not create an attorney-client relationship or privilege. Please describe what happened in general terms and save the details for a conversation.

A person answers the office number at every hour, weekends included. A message sent here at night is read when the office opens.

What happens next

  1. The first call

Free and confidential: what happened, who was hurt, and whether an insurer has already asked you for a recorded statement.

  2. If there is a claim

The office writes to the insurers and the other driver to have the photographs, the vehicle data and the repair records preserved.

  3. The agreement

The contingency fee and how case costs are handled are set out in a written agreement, signed only once you have read it.
